Engineered to adhere to OSHA and NFPA standards, Sure-Grip®EX cabinets are built from robust 18-gauge (1-mm) double-wall, welded steel with a 1-1/2-in (38-mm) insulating air gap for enhanced fire resistance. The high-performance, self-latching doors provide secure closure for optimal protection during fire incidents. The fail-safe closing mechanism guarantees the three-point stainless steel bullet latching system operates reliably every time.

For additional security, the U-Loc™ handle includes a cylinder lock and key set or can accommodate an optional padlock. Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels remain highly visible in fire conditions or power outages when illuminated by a flashlight.

The patented SpillSlope® galvanized steel shelves channel spills to the back and bottom of a leakproof 2-in (51-mm) bottom sump. These shelves are adjustable on 3-in (76-mm) centers for flexible storage options. The cabinets also feature dual vents with flame arresters, four adjustable self-leveling feet, a grounding connector, and a trilingual warning label. The durable lead-free epoxy/polyester powder-coat finish offers excellent chemical resistance.

Self-close doors automatically shut and latch when a fusible link melts at 165°F (74ºC) under fire conditions. The unique, concealed self-closing mechanism provides unobstructed access to the contents.

All door styles comply with OSHA and NFPA 30; Self-close door styles also meet NFPA 1, the International Fire Code and comply with OSHA and NFPA 30
